Movieworld

My next theme park visit was the one I had been looking forward to the most, Movieworld. Whilst Dreamworld has more rides to offer I had heard very positive things about Movieworld so I was super psyched to visit.

The movie world passes were on offer so myself and a few friends managed to snag them at $79.99. This price included entrance to Movieworld, Sea World and Wet ‘n’ Wild until June 2015, it also included a free upgrade to the gold pass that gives you free 1 admission to both the fright night event in Halloween and the white christmas event in december.

I think the park has a pretty cool entrance

Superman Escape is by far my favourite ride in the park. Movieworld are pretty strict when it comes to riding with items in your pockets and make you place them in a locker at $2 a pop. Instead of paying $2 for 1 hour we purchased a locker for the whole day a cost of $10. Again I left my iPhone in there for a majority of the day so didn’t manage to capture too much.

I managed to meet Willy Wonker. He wasn’t too impressed with me.

Sasa (left) and Crystal (right) seemed like they had fun.

Next it was time to meet Batman who took the time to say happy birthday to my nephew.

Nothing beats a nice cool down on a decent water ride. Wild Water Falls is a pretty lengthy log flume ride with a cool backwards section.

Green Lantern is another one of my favourite rides within the park, especially if you manage to get a seat at the front on the far right hand side. The coaster also looks pretty bad ass during sunset!

That was the end of my first time at Movieworld. In my opinion Movieworld is much better then Dreamworld, the rides are of a much higher quality at Movieworld and they feel like they are actually maintained unlike at Dreamworld.
